SUNWOO (선우), born Kim Sunwoo (김선우), is a Korean rapper signed to IST Entertainment under Kakao M Entertainment. He is the main rapper of K-Pop group THE BOYZ, and was born on April 12, 2000, making him one of the youngest in the group. Prior to his debut with THE BOYZ, Sunwoo was a contestant on High School Rapper in early 2017.

Sunwoo is very active musically, with the most writing credits on KOMCA of any member of THE BOYZ. He has released various solo singles on THE BOYZ’s SoundCloud account, including “광합성 (Photosynthesis)” and “Berry.” As part of a rap unit for Kingdom : Legendary War, he also collaborated with BOBBY and SF9’s HWIYOUNG on “Full DaSH.”

As an aspiring rapper before debut, Sunwoo is also a member of NAMED LATE, a a SoundCloud rap group with school freinds, ONEWE’s CyA and RARE (Jihoon). As a debuted idol, he is still occasionally featured on the other member’s SoundCloud singles.
