Static & Ben El were one of the most successful duos in Israel. The duo consisted of Leeraz Rousseau (Static) and Ben El Tavori (Ben El).
Their first collaboration was on Ron Nesher’s 2015 hit “#DubiGal”, which got many praises and got over 30 million views on YouTube.
On November 29, 2015 they released their first song as duo, “Barbie” which took Israel by storm when its music video broke record and became the most-viewed video in Israel.
After that, Static & Ben El released more hits like “Silsulim” and “Tudo Bom” which were the first music videos in Israel to get 50 million views on YouTube.
In 2018, Israeli-American giant producer Haim Saban signed them in a record deal. Since then, they began release English songs including English versions of their songs “Broke Ass Millionaire” (English version of “Silsulim”) and “Tudo Bom” with Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin.
In 2020, they released their first brand new English single, “Further Up (Na, Na, Na, Na, Na)” featuring successful American rapper Pitbull, which became hit in less than a week in Israel and abroad, thanks to the collaboration with the successful rapper.
On August 25, 2022, the duo had announced their breakup.
