Gabriel Jackson (born 1963), better know by Spoonie Gee, was one of the earliest rap artists. He was one of the few rap artists to release records in the late 70s and was also known as the “Love Rapper” on account of his record “Love Rap”. While Spoonie started as a founding member of the Treacherous Three, he soon left to emerge as a solo artist.
