Considered to be one of the greatest playback singers, Shreya Ghoshal is a singer and producer from West Bengal. Shreya started singing at an early age of four. Exceeding in over four languages: Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu, and Hindi, Shreya iconized the Bollywood playback songs. However, Shreya’s career in mainstream music began after she won the TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma in 2000.

Following her victory at the age of 16, Shreya started singing as a playback singer for Bollywood movies. From an early age, not only did she aspire to become a playback singer, but she also was inspired by the playback songs.

In 2002, she got offered to sing for Devdas movie, presenting her the opportunity to release her first studio album. She recorded five songs for Devdas to the likes of “Dola Re Dola” and “Bairi Piya.”
