At a young but very knowledgeable 18 years old, seFu brings a soulful, introspective, and at times, braggadocious vibe to the underground alt rap scene. Hailing from Houston, Texas seFu has southern tendencies that at times pop out in his cadences and word choices which brings a refreshing tone to hip hop that’s not the east coast or California sound. Influenced by Earl Sweatshirt, Kanye West, MF DOOM, Mavi, and others, seFu’s message is simply to strengthen the black community through the arts. (2020)
