Ronnie Gene Dunn was born June 1, 1953 in Coleman, Texas to Jesse Eugene and Gladys Inez (Thurmon) Dunn. The 6'4" singer-songwriter played the saxophone in El Dorado’s school band. He attended thirteen different schools within 12 years, because they moved around so much. On May 19, 1990 Ronnie married his second wife, Janine. He has a total of three children; Jesse and Whitney from his first marriage and Haley Marie (10/28/94) from his marriage to Janine. He also has a grandson, Huxton Wayne, who was born 2/26/2012.
Ronnie makes up one-half of the award winning country music duo Brooks & Dunn. In his solo career, he is known for “Bleed Red”.
