About Real Friends

Real Friends is a pop-punk band that originated in Illinois, United States in 2010. The band consists of five members: drummer Brian Blake, bass guitarist Kyle Fasel, lead guitarist Dave Knox, rhythm guitarist Eric Haines and vocalist Cody Muraro. The band is currently signed to Fearless Records.

Since the start of the band Real Friends have released three studio albums: 2014’s Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing, 2016’s The Home Inside My Head and 2018’s Composure. They have also released seven EP’s: 2011’s This Is Honesty, 2012’s Everyone That Dragged You Here, Acoustic Songs and Three Songs About The Past Year Of My Life, 2013’s Put Yourself Back Together, 2015’s More Acoustic Songs and 2019’s Even More Acoustic Songs.

On February 14, 2020, the band announced the departure of vocalist Dan Lambton, but stated that they had no plans of breaking up. On June 21st, 2021, Real Friends announced the release of their new singles with Cody Muraro taking on vocals, formerly from Youth Fountain.
