For Pull The Curtain, it was never a phase. Back when guyliner garnered more rolled eyes than pats on the back, brothers Richard Francois (guitar) and Cole Townsend (vocals) devoured every Sum 41 and Fall Out Boy video that graced MTV and fantasized about playing main stage at Warped Tour. A mall rat phase and a whole lot of Hot Cash later, the pair would stumble into a friendship with Vincent Dominguez (guitar) and lay the foundation for Pull The Curtain.
After a lifetime of admiring the scene from the outside, the band dropped its debut EP, “Counting Sheep” in 2020. Seamlessly blending the angst of acts like Underoath and Senses Fail with the catchiness of New Found Glory and The Starting Line, the record served as a love letter to 2000s core and firmly placed the band at the forefront of an increasingly diverse scene typified by acts like Meet me @ The Altar, Magnolia Park, SeeYouSpaceCowboy… and If I Die First .
