Peter Grudzien was a psychedelic country artist and participant in the Greenwich folk/bluegrass scene known for his bizarre lyricism and sound design. He was homosexual and schizophrenic, which played a part contextually in albums like The Unicorn. A quintessential “outsider” type, he initially struggled to sell even 500 copies of The Unicorn, but it has since garnered a small but passionate fanbase. He has many lost albums.
