NMIXX (엔믹스) is a South Korean girl group formed under, JYP Entertainment. The group consists of six members: Lily, Haewon, BAE, Jiwoo, Sullyoon and Kyujin. Originally as seven, Jinni left the group on December 9, 2022.
During their pre-debut period, it was announced that JYP Entertainment would be forming both a pop-rock group, Xdinary Heroes and a girl group, which turned out to be NMIXX. The group was then teased through a video of the qualifying trainees, a month after the qualifying members were announced, an official debut trailer for the group was released.
On February 22nd, 2022, NMIXX officially debuted with their single album, AD MARE, led by the title track, “O.O” and it’s anticipated B-side track, “占 (TANK)”. The group faced a great amount of criticism, especially surrounding the production of the track “O.O" which mixed two completely different genres of music. This was later dubbed by JYP Entertainment as ‘MIXXPOP’.
In September 2022, NMIXX made their first comeback with the single album, ENTWURF, once again tapping into the ‘MIXXPOP’ style.
The group released their first EP on March 20th, 2023 with the album, expérgo with their first pre-release single, “Young, Dumb, Stupid” and it’s lead track, “Love Me Like This.”
