A New Orleans-based rapper who favors a relaxed yet combative approach to rhyming, Neno Calvin has been active since the late 2000s and started releasing mixtapes in 2011, beginning with Mission Started. After additional tapes such as Gimme That Too, Nenola, and Nenolia, Calvin reached a wider audience in 2016, when he issued the album Regrets & Progression and was featured on the Birdman tracks “Ms. Gladys” and “Fuk Em.” In 2017, Calvin continued to add mixtapes to his discography, including I for I, and was featured on tracks by Philthy Rich, Young da Truth, Mr. Marcelo, and Christian Radke, among others.-Andy Kellman
