N. Drew is a rapper, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, mixing and mastering engineer from Portugal.

He makes music that can’t be put in any box, but he’s mainly a Pop, Rap, EDM and R&B artist. Ever since he was a toddler, he has shown an interest in music. He started by playing drums at two years old, and when he turned 8, he started playing the guitar and singing. At 11 years old he joined a music school, that had a partnership with the public school he attended, and started to learn music theory, guitar, and piano, amongst other subjects and skills. At 13 he started writing his own songs in class, and at 15 he started producing and recording himself in his bedroom, while also writing songs about depression with NDM in the back of their classes, in 2017.

In 2018, N. Drew and his friend, fellow artist NDM, decided to release their first ever official release “Ansiedade”. The track was met with great reception in their school and area. This is also the only song he has released that he didn’t produce.

“Precious” was his most successful song to date, released on January 4th, 2019 — a tribute to two deceased friends of the artist. Freestyled and published on the same day he got the news, it’s his most emotional and personal song ever released.
On April 3rd, 2019, N. Drew releases “Rooftop” featuring NDM once again. This song has a slow start but eventually becomes his most viewed music video in YouTube with over 67 thousand views.

“Igual a Ti” (released January 12th, 2020) is a song about fighting against racism and the artist’s own experiences with the matter, being of mixed race. The song was playlisted in two official Spotify Editorial Playlists which helped him gain more listeners.

In the same year, N. Drew released the single “N Ka Ta Bai”, his most introspective song to date — a letter to his future self where he talks about his roots, his struggles, his career dilemma, his aspirations and his dreams. Due to the song talking about his roots and past, the chorus is in crioulo, an African dialect that he grew up speaking, because he was partially raised by his grandmom, who is from Cape Verde.
