About Moon Byul

Moonbyul, born as Moon Byul-yi (문별이) on December 22, 1992 in Bucheon, South Korea, is a member of a famous South Korean girl group MAMAMOO. She holds the position of rapping and performances. She is also a songwriter and actress.
In 2018, Moonbyul released her solo debut effort “Selfish” featuring Red Velvet’s SEULGI.

Moonbyul has showcased her songwriting skills with MAMAMOO’s appearances on Immortal Songs 2–where she wrote her own rap verses since there weren’t any, from January 2015. She has the highest number of credits in Mamamoo’s songs among her members and in general.

She then extended her solo career with her first solo album, Dark Side of the Moon on February 14th, 2020. Moonbyul continued onto it with a repackage album and then near the end of 2021, Moonbyul started off releasing singles to her January 2022 full album, 6equence. This was then followed by April 28th’s C.I.T.T (Cheese In The Trap).
