About Methods of Mayhem

Methods of Mayhem is the side project of Tommy Lee, known as being the drummer of the popular 80s hair metal band, Motley Crue. Tommy Lee had left the band after the release of the band’s Generation Swine album due to rising tensions with Motley Crue vocalist, Vince Neil. Tommy later recruited TiLo from (hed) p.e. as the secondary vocalist of their side project, Methods of Mayhem, releasing their eponymous debut record in December of 1999. The group would disband a year after the release of said album.

In 2009, Methods of Mayhem was resurrected, with Lee releasing A Public Service Announcement a year later in 2010.

The band would be revived a third time in 2019, when Tommy announced that the band was back. However, no music from Methods of Mayhem has been released since then.
