Born Justin Matthew Edwards, Math Hoffa is an American battle rapper from Brooklyn, New York.

He was one of the early faces of the Ultimate Rap League (URL) and his early battles against Iron Solomon, T-Rex and Aye Verb helped propel the league to where it is today.

He is notorious for a number of fights and physical altercations in battles throughout his career. in 2007 he punched Philadelphia MC J Dose in the face and sparked a fight between the two sides. In 2013 he punched rapper Serius Jones knocking him to floor and causing Summer Madness 3 to be shut down. Finally in 2014, at King of the Dot’s BOLA 5 event – California MC Dizaster punched Math numerous times in a huge brawl.
