Semi successful songwriter, recording artist, author and misanthrope.
Haines had a brush with fame with The Auteurs, a pop band remembered for a few minor hit records in the nineties, amongst them Showgirl featured at number 34 on NME’s 50 greatest britpop songs ever. Christmas single “Unsolved Child Murder” was well received by some critics, but failed to make the number one spot.
