About Lonesity

Lonesity is a Canadian artist from a small town in Northwestern Ontario, who currently resides in Ottawa. At age 14, he began DJing locally under the name “DJ Dropnotch”; by the time he was 16, he was DJing for events all over his hometown, ranging from weddings to dance venues. Though most well-known for playing a wide variety of popular music, while delivering energy-filled performances, he always retained a fondness for smaller artists and the music they created. In 2017, he became more interested in producing music of his own.

His producer name changed from Cratos to Premises, until finally landing on Blank Theory. For two years he produced hundreds of tracks (many of which went unheard) primarily focused on Hip-Hop/Rap. Small-town life felt limiting in terms of finding vocalists, and it wasn’t until he moved to Ottawa when he began collaborating with other artists. There, he met artists Jerome and Prince Papi. Together, they made “INSOMNIOUS”, their first full length track together.

Eventually, the time came around where he felt he needed to get behind the microphone as well. Thus, “Lonesity” was born. His songs vary from melodic singing to aggressive metal rap. He draws influences from many artists/bands, some of which include LINKIN PARK, The Amity Affliction, Lil Peep, Josh A, Hollywood Undead, Night Lovell, XXXTentacion, and more.
