Lil Kuudere (born 20th of November 1997) is an Australian independent recording artist, graphic designer and producer from Brisbane. He cites Bladee, Hatsune Miku, Lil soda boi, The 1975, Weiland and YungJZAisDead as his main musical influences

In an interview with internet blog Asura Stories he recalls that listening to underground rap in high school inspired him to start making his own music when he left the school. Then in 2017, he released his first song (after having previously released beats) named Tokyo Shawty. Kuudere gathered his early buzz mostly on his own, without any major promotion, garnering 3k followers on SoundCloud. After this, he got his track Unlucky promoted by popular music promoter SadChill on youtube. The song arguably became his most popular solo-song to date and has been streamed around 150k times across streaming platforms. This significantly boosted his monthly listeners on Spotify, where he now sits on around 5k per month. After this, the track: Let me get this off my chest also got promoted on the channel a song which marked the first time he experimented with the very trendy style of Hyperpop in contrast to his earlier trap sound. He is yet to release a debut solo-album or mixtape, although releasing a collaborative EP with Hikikomori Boys named HIKIKOMORI BOYS VOL. 1 in 2018 and another one named Forever Fornever with Lil Vivid in 2019.

He also appeared on the song Switch by frequent collaborator Lil Weeb as a featuring artist. This became both Kuudere and Lil Weeb’s most popular song and can be estimated to have been streamed close to half a million times across all streaming platforms. He is also a part of music-groups: Hikikomori Boys and Isekai Boyz and is known to often associate with the group Digital Hearts and their respective members.

Kuudere’s style of music tends to be very emotionally charged, with lyrics revolving around artificial relationships, mental struggles and the occasional reference to video games and otaku culture. In his own words «I mainly just try to express my emotions, what I’m thinking at the time. Each song has its own story and I hope people can learn something from them. Sometimes music can help you realize certain emotions inside yourself. I hope my music helps people learn about their own feelings.»
