About Khundi Panda (쿤디판다)

Khundi Panda is a South Korean rapper. The name ‘Khundi Panda’ came from a fictional raccoon he made up after reading fantasy novels and comic books. He grew up in Hong Kong, where he was introduced to Epik High, the group that sparked his interest in music.

He released his first mixtape in his third year of high school on the site Hiphopplaya after listening to rappers sample Pusha-T’s “Trouble On My Mind”. He went on to release many more mixtapes, with his most popular one being King Iddim in 2016.

He signed to the label Dejavu Group in 2017, and released his debut studio album, Garosawk, in 2020, which won Best Rap Album at the Korean Music Awards. He participated in multiple seasons of the reality show Show Me The Money, with his most notable appearance being in Show Me The Money 9, where he released the song “VVS, which peaked at #1 on the Gaon Digital Charts and won Hip-Hop Track of the Year at the Korean Hip-Hop Awards.

He is also a part of the Dejavu Group band Flatshop comprising of labelmates DAMYE, Viann (with whom he released a collaborative album, Reconstruction), and Noogi.
