Shiro Sobotta´s alter ego Kavula (also known by his formerly DJ name Mike Mission; born in another millenium in Marburg) is a german rapper, songwriter, beat producer and DJ. He is based in Buseck, state of Hesse, and launched his hip hop career recently by signing with the hip hop label YBS420 RECORDS and releasing the first singles in 2018.

Kavula has been writing lyrics since his teenage years but never showed to anybody, apart from a few exceptions. Till now…!
The songs are about what songs are naturally about… love and hate, sense and nonsense, shattered dreams and missed aims, high flights and crash landings, desperation and hope, splendid successes and crushing defeats, the unbearable lightness of being and the hardness of breaking it off, lost principles and won experiences… to put it in a nutshell, about pretty much anything that makes us love life… as well as hate it.

Is it still art or already midlife-crisis?!
In any case it’s the sound of his ‘30s…
