Kim Jongin (김종인) professionally known as KAI (카이), is a South Korean performer. KAI is the main dancer, sub-rapper, sub-vocalist of K-Pop group EXO and its sub-unit EXO-K. Since 2019, KAI has also been part of SM Entertainment’s supergroup SuperM.

KAI made his debut as an idol through EXO-K, with the single “MAMA,” released on April 8, 2012. In October of 2019, KAI was announced as a member of SuperM and debuted with the title track “Jopping.”

As a soloist, KAI was featured in labelmate TAEMIN’s song, “Pretty Boy” in 2014. KAI made his official solo debut in 2020 with a self-titled EP, led by the successful title track “음 (Mmmh).” Exactly one year later, KAI had his first comeback with his second mini album Peaches. In 2023, KAI released his third mini album featuring the viral hit “Rover.”
