Johnny Montano was born in Elizabeth, NJ, raised in Roselle, NJ, at three years old. Music has always been around his household since he can remember. From Nas to Michael Jackson, from Biggie to Led Zeppelin, and from Jay-Z to Héctor Lavoe. Johnny grew up in a Spanish home with older siblings, which exposed him to various genres early. Throughout his musical journey, Johnny learned to play the drums and started producing right after college. Around this time, he decided to pursue music wholeheartedly and never looked back since.
His inspiration is to make music that connects with people during times of need. Some people listen to music to feel heard and understood. Some people listen to music to pass the time and to jam out.
