Adopted from Guatemala and raised in Madison, CT, Jakob has lived a unique life to date. At 24 years old, he’s traveled to the same amount of countries via global academic and professional opportunities via his time in undergrad via Northeastern in Boston.
Jakob’s been writing remixes since the 6th grade but didn’t release his first official and original song until 2015. Since then, he’s traveled the globe, received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and International Affairs, served in the Peace Corps, and now is pursuing his Master’s in Public Policy & Administration at Northwestern, all while simultaneously working on his craft, improving with each release.
His main musical inspirations are Drake, Sal Houdini, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, & Eminem to name a few.
Drawing on his own experiences (domestic and global), Jakob details his life through his songs in a variety of styles, over a diverse set of production.
