itsaedanhill, also known as Aedan, is a self-produced trans music artist from Connecticut, who specializes in genres such as: scream rap, post punk, metal, grunge, phonk, & alternative rock. She is known in the underground for her heavy scream rap and independent/acoustic music.

She is known by a few names in the underground music scene, such as “itsaedanhill,” & “Bazooka Dan.” However, alongside the nicknames, she also has a side project called “BlakkGr1mm,” of which her beat making and music production is done under.

She first began to release vocal music under the name “itsaedanhill,” in June of 2021. Starting out dropping only solo music, she would later begin to frequently collaborate with a group called “The Punk Possums,” eventually becoming a member of the collective. The group included artists such as: Aedan, Xdium, Lxthnl, kysholic, and Sevveryrare. The collective would officially end in December of 2022, but the group has stayed together since, rebranding into a collective called “$KUM Inc.” & a community called “The Sxber Silly Show.”

Although $KUM wasn’t officially formed into a music collective until early 2023, it has been around and a vital part of Aedan’s image since July of 2019. $KUM was originally a clothing brand of homemade punk-style patch pants & hoodies. Founded by Aedan and her cousin, $KUM is a staple of the story behind Aedan’s style and image. To this day, Aedan still wears the same pair of patch-covered jeans she started in 2020.

Around the same time $KUM was originally started, Aedan started to produce instrumentals under the name “BlakkGr1mm.” She would make beats for her cousin, who was a rapper at the time, going by the name “$KXTEHEXD.” $KXTEHEXD would later retire from making rap music and form a grind band called “VOMITDOLLS,” under the alias, “Spider.” Aedan began to experiment with writing, recording, and mixing vocals shortly after.

October of 2022 saw Aedan’s first 2 projects: An indie collab EP between Aedan and findsoull, called “KeepFrzn” alongside an alternative/trap metal album called “Cabin in The Woods,” later that month. The debut album would eventually be renamed to “itsaedanhill Vol. 1: Cabin in The Woods” in an effort to set up a saga. The saga was unfortunately cancelled after her second album “itsaedanhill Vol. 2: By The Lakeside,” which released on June 16th, 2023. About a month later, these 2 albums would be deleted off of all streaming services and most likely lost forever. KeepFrzn was also deleted sometime in September of 2023, along with a majority of her previous singles.

KeepFrzn would see a rerelease on the 26th of January, 2024; including a new track called “Song Made at 1am.”

“Back From The Dead,” Aedan’s third full-length album, has been teased numerous times on her social media.
