About Death By Stereo

DBS is a punk band from Orange County, CA, which was formed between Ian Fowels, Jarrod Alexander, Paul & Jim Miner, and their front man Efrem Schulz in 1998. DBS was formed as an amalgamation between members' former bands, specifically D-Cons (Jarrod and Ian), Clint (Efrem), and CleanX (Paul and Jim). However, they all knew each other long before they formed as a band. They formed as a punk rock band, and held true to the genre until 2005, when their music took a much more metal approach.

The band is still active today, having released their most recent album in August of 2020.
