About Deaf Havana

Deaf Havana are an English alternative rock band from Hunstanton and King’s Lynn in Norfolk. The band was formed in 2005 at the King’s Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia.

The band produced many self-titled EPs in the years of 2005-2008, when It’s Called the Easy Life released, and the band began to gain popularity after the full-length, Meet Me Halfway, At Least. After this EP, vocalist Ryan Mellor left the band for personal reasons, and the bands style has shifted ever since – once with elements of hardcore, the band have softened to a more alternative British rock sound. The release of Fools and Worthless Liars in 2011 on BMG proved hugely successful with hits such as I’m A Bore Mostly and Hunstanton Pier. The bands latest effort Old Souls was released on 16th September 2013, and was the first UK Top 10 Album for the band.

The band have returned after a long break, announcing on Twitter that they are in the process of finishing up a 4th record for release in late 2016.
