Clutch is an American rock band based out of Frederick, Maryland, originating in Germantown, Maryland. Clutch consists of members Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Tim Sult (lead guitar, backing vocals), Dan Maines (bass, backing vocals) and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums and percussion).
The members of Clutch first met while in high school in Germantown. Forming the band in 1991, they consider themselves a Frederick-based band where they still write/rehearse for every album/tour.
To date, Clutch has released twelve studio albums, and several rarities and live albums.
As of 2008, the band has formed their own label, Weathermaker.
“Book of Bad Decisions” is the band’s twelfth studio album and was released September 7th, 2018 via their own label Weathermaker Music.
The album was recorded, mixed and produced at Sputnik Sound in Nashville, TN by producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather) and consists of 15 new tracks.
