Melodic metal ensemble Archares arises from the depths of Finnish forests, incorporating elements across subgenres of metal, with its mission to shake the earth beneath your feet. Archares draws inspiration from the interaction between humans, humanity and nature, exploring the blurry lines between fantasy and reality.

Inspired by the melodicism of Nightwish, ferociousness of Amorphis, and electricity of Amaranthe, Archares adds its own unique touch by mixing in elements of surprise, derived from the world of progressive metal.

The revolver of Archares consists of vocalist Miika Matilainen, cellist Veikko Sajaniemi, guitarist Oskari Kilpi, Ville “Nylle” Nyman on keyboards, bassist Roger Gottleben and Ville “Nulle” Nummisalo on drums.

The band has continually developed new material and in June 2020 Archares releases its first EP. On the road, numerous singles has been released.
