Born & raised in Arlington, VA, AlanMichael has garnered the attention from some of music’s top influencers. In 2011 he started releasing acapella covers on his Soundcloud, which caught the attention of Dev Hynes. Hynes invited AlanMichael to perform with him in Brooklyn, and since then, AlanMIchael has performed alongside artists such as DAWN, Kindness, and Brandy.

In April of 2016, using nothing but a TC Helicon pedal and GarageBand, AlanMichael recorded his debut EP, Honeymoon Motel, in 2017, accompanied by visuals for every song, he released his ENTRANCING EP. After launching his own label, ‘Boyfriend Groove’ and gearing up to release his first full length album this summer, AlanMichael is without a doubt becoming an artist to watch.
