Alaina Castillo (born November 16, 1999) is an American singer-songwriter from Houston, Texas. She started gaining fame from posting singing covers of songs on her Youtube channel, which currently has over 800k subscribers.

On October 18, 2019, Alaina released her debut single “i don’t think i love you anymore” from her debut EP, antisocial butterfly.

After the release of two droplet singles, “valentine’s day” and “ocean waves”, Castillo released the lead single “just a boy” from her sophomore EP, the voicenotes, on March 26, 2020.

Then on April 10, 2020, she released “no vuelvas a mirar atrás” off her Spanish EP, mensajes de voz.

After releasing two droplet singles, “tonight” and “¡parate!”, and also the release of her first Christmas song, “wishlist”. Alaina released “stfu (i got u)” as the lead single of the first part of her first studio album, parallel universe, pt. 1. She also released “indica” as the second single of the album.

After a hiatus, it was announced that the second part of parrellel universe was cancelled to focus on new music and a new project that started with “sad girls always finish first”.
