“Yada” is the intro to Yada, OMEN’s sophomore debut album. In this intro, the listener comes to understand what Yada truly is. Or maybe the speech just sounded cool and any attempt to find deeper meaning just makes OMEN feel more important. Either works.
[Intro]
Yada, yada
Yada what?
Yada, yada, yada
[Monologue]
Maybe you’ve heard that phrase before: “yada, yada, yada”
Now, this is true: the word “yada” is a Hebrew word that means “to know” or “to perceive”
Not just to know about someone, not just to know about something, but “yada” - to really know intimately, t-to know deep beneath the surface; it means this intimate, this deep knowledge
We may know about someone, but do we truly know them?
“Yada”, you see, is a personal word that denotes much more than just a basic understanding of someone or something; it speaks of an intimate, deep-rooted knowledge of one’s presence and of one’s activity
Yada, yada, yada
We are no accident
We are OMEN
[Outro]
From this point forward, things a-are going to be different
Yada was written by OMEN (Chut).
OMEN (Chut) released Yada on Sat May 30 2020.
