“695 North Avenue” is a tribute to the original address of the historic Atlanta venue, The Masquerade, which moved to a new location. The venue was founded at the original site at 1988, up until its decommission in 2016.
The song is the first single off Schneider’s debut EP Tinted Glasses.
[Verse 1]
Reaching for a place to call my home tonight
Calling up your cell phone
Reminiscing at the tone
The summer air brings out the best in me
Swimming in our ecstasy
Loving like we're living free
We've been to all three stages of the afterlife
But my heaven is with you and it feels so right
[Chorus]
I say we've seen the worst of hell
But we made it through
Me and you
Dancing late at night
I only want you by my side
Just stay true
To 695 North Avenue
[Verse 2]
We spend our nights
Coloring outside the lines
To hell with all the traffic signs
Writing our own storylines
You are the piece of my heart
The one that makes me whole
With you I'm sick to lose control
You're the only one who sees my soul
This waiting game just doesn't work for me
I'm done with holding back
Have to be running free
[Chorus]
I say we've seen the worst of hell
But we made it through
Me and you
Dancing late at night
I only want you by my side
Just stay true
To 695 North Avenue
[Bridge]
Old bricks and stones have built us up
We've got great bones, don't matter what
Let nobody ever tell us that we're wrong
Lighting up our lives [?]
The stage is set for destiny
We're standing tall
And standing strong
[Chorus]
I say we've seen the best of hell
But we made it through
Living out the best moments of our lives
Me and you
And 695 North Avenue
I say we've seen the best of hell
And we made it through
Me and you
Dancing late at night
I only want you by my side
Just stay true
To 695 North Avenue

It’s a place dear to my heart, and I feel like I’ve grown up there. 695 North Avenue was the original address of the venue before they moved to another space last year, and it will always serve as my musical home. So many of my favorite memories took place in this building, from singing live with St...
