The idea of ‘El Paradiso’ came up because I go on vacation to St. Moritz for many years. After ‘Welcome To St. Tropez’ they asked me to do a song about St. Moritz. Like ‘Welcome To St. Moritz’. St. Moritz is like St. Tropez in winter in the mountains. But I said to myself I can’t do something simila...
What was the process of making the song like?
I had this idea in the shower at 7:20 in the morning when he was back in Toronto and then I sent him a voice memo with my idea and he recorded that idea in the studio. I really had to push him to make it sound the way I wanted it and then the song was born.
