Maybe if I tried to be somebody else
You would love me some more
If we don't align
We're better by ourselves
This is a pointless war
Everybody has a version of me in their minds
Wanna live their lives through me
But what about mind

About who I really am
Then we might just be fine

I'm not doing anything wrong
I'm not hurting a soul
You're hurt 'cause I don't fit your mould
You did that on your own

I've made my case
I'm only human
I made the mistake

I tried living like the blind

I can't liе I won't survive
I cannot turn off my mind
For me, I can't live another lie
What we call love is just us endorsing stupid behaviour
What we call trust
Is only us promoting negative characteristics
Oh yeah
Wondering How did we miss this
I feel I finally see things
I should've known in the beginning

Maybe if I tried to be somebody else
You would love me some more
I will never try to be someone else again
So I guess we'll never know
