Tell ya how things really make you change your mind
Bitter or kind, what you'll find is a source
A obstacle course mental or physical
But always somewhere a miracle comes along
My miracle was through my success I failed
Putting things on the scale
I really wish I didn't have friends in jail
And bail on a childhood best friend drowning in alcohol
I go back to that telephone call full of regrets
And meet the situation eye to eye
Before we hung up with no goodbye
Through time I turned my heart obsolete
Walking incomplete, should've kept it clear
So I can shed a tear on my lil homies grave
Through pain I look back and see how far I done came
This was at 13
First thing that ever came to mind was others before me
The anger I let channel through my veins
Set me under, view of the world became dark like the cloud of thunderstorms
Couple of years pass and i wonder why am I not in the hundreds of norms
Realizing that the world can only be as beautiful as you make it
I rose up from hardwood floors and blankets to having a bed
You'd be surprised what you realize you got but others not
If you could see the spots on the walls
From holes to mold
In my home where I bloomed
I was doomed for my health
But later the family accumed some wealth
After really it was mom's left Pa
Ma only wanted better things for her children
And I know sometimes we don't exactly get along
But the things you put up with, realized how strong you are
Grew up in a house of selflessness
This falcon flew from it's nest
Learned to love learned to care
Praising the creator above
Love with no affairs
However dared I did turn my back but that was whack
I didn't mean to attack the hearts I did
Was it time or was it I that tore us apart
I was expected to drop out now I'm on my plan to the highest point I can be
Dreaming of a music degree
Scheming of the things I could be
Now through my eyes I see
The old me looking at the new me with a key of success
