By any definition, joining us now as you can see there's rocks and bottles
And you can see tear gas canisters being fired
There are reports of gunshots also being fired
Uh, and there is a dispersing of the crowd, the police are moved in
That's right, Roger, you can see there's a lot of unhappy people here—
Couple hundred demonstrators have gathered here holding up signs that say, "Black Lives Matter"
Now, once that decision was made, somebody actually got up on a bullhorn and announced it to the crowd
The uh, the crowd then, uh, started marching
They're on the march as we speak
We believe they're marching towards the police department, chanting, "No Justice, no Peace" (Peace)

How can they treat us as if we're anything less than them?
Lives being taken
Lord, why does it seem that your people have been forsaken?
Obviously, the statement, "Land of the free", has been mistaken
You don't see the elegance of these beautiful stones until they are laying on the examination table
They have been buried away from society
Poverty, striated passion for pain begins to rise in me
They tell me that my life matters and honestly sounds like that is another lie to me
But there is a light that is alive in me
For my people, my precious people, allow me to teach you how to survive and lead
It hurts to see my people lives, revived to bleed
This is the pain that I can't just let go
Buried diamond, now, blood diamond
The mass beauty of our people is the one thing we need to let show
