Mozzy is one of my favorite artists and our teams are really tight. So we sent some records over and Mozzy liked what we had put together, so he came up with the idea to put together an EP.

The inspiration for “Run The City” was this chick that caught my eye in the club, and I didn’t know she had a man at the time. She ended up being the plug’s girl, I channeled that situation into “Run The City.”
What was the process of making the song like?
Gekko is a producer I work with a lot, and he flew in from NYC. We went over to The Coffee Bean near my crib and he cooked the beat up in like 30 minutes, then we went straight to the studio laying the hook and my verse then sent it over to Mozzy. The rest is history!
