People talk about depression like it’s a kind of sadness
I am here to tell you that’s wrong
You misunderstand a man who can’t feel the same way you do I’ll explain it again

Just because I’m sad doesn’t mean I wanna kill myself
Just because I’m down doesn’t mean I’m gonna end it all
Sometimes when I’m happy I feel down here just the same
Never check on me until I text and say I’m suicidal

I should turn my pain into music
I already did but don’t know how I’m gonna use it
Feelings come and go take it slow and don’t abuse it
If you do then you are gonna fall and then you’ll lose it

People say I’m fake
People say I do this for attention
What the hell?
Don’t give me attitude
Rude
I am terrified
Of suicide
But I’m still on the edge

No one cares!

That I’m really just a kid
Curled on the ground
Wishing all of this would end
But it won’t
And I’m horrified
Where are my emotions
Like I’m watching paint dry
