It took me massive to be honest with my craft

Then went higher up the ranks, planted the flag with Over Shadows
Now I’m granted the highest command with all the doubters overshadowed
Never considered myself as an artist
That is the habit of narcissists
Too egotistical to glance on what is the larger pic
I got a mind of a thousand slaves
I’ve given up my emancipation
If that’s gonna kill me then I will be taking my masters down to the ground with me

[Interlude: Eyedea]
There’s… kind of the perpetual psychological state of most artists that I know that deals with a lot of regret. In general, there’s a lot of stuff that I regret, but it kind of all compiles and turns you into who you are so it’s difficult to say, “Oh I regret this one thing” because it kind of opened a door into another thing

[Outro]
The preceding soliloquies are a culmination
Of fragmented realizations by our nameless protagonist
And it was at this moment that he takes a leap of faith
And wakes up on the ground unscathed
As he lies on a bed of roses
He observes the pollination by a butterfly transpiring right before him
And a eureka of sorts came out of him
Understanding that this encounter was a testament to his own metamorphosis
