“Sillygomania” is the first track of Nottet’s sophomore album of the same name. It is a spoken poetry, just like the first track of Nottet’s debut album, Selfocracy.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
[Poem]
A man once told me
That it was important never to forget
Because the ghosts of our past
Know every line of our history
And when we feel lonely
There is nothing more comforting
Than a truly happy memory
Which we have kept alive in a corner of our mind
Having said this, these memories are not always the best companions
Constantly living with regrets or remorse can plunge anyone into a state of deep and impenetrable sadness
Observing the world growing up without ageing along with it
Teaches nothing to a child who wants to learn how to live
What is the point in keeping hatred and anger bottled up inside instead of simply wiping it out?
Along with its dark memory
You are surely aware that the past is a fragile creature
Which must be tamed cautiously
Because even if keeping it close can be comforting to those in doubt
The past and its ghosts can weaken those who are already anguished
So even if it's true, that we shouldn't forget
More than one man has gone mad through remembering too much
Accumulating too many useless memories inside oneself without sorting them out can lead a man into labyrinth from which there is no escape route
So those of you who are listening, listen well
Because maybe your ghosts know each other
And are one and the same
