Confinement (Intro)

(For too long I've been alone, I'm afraid it's all I'll know
I can't get me off this road, and I feel it take its toll
There's no escape, oh there's no escape)

Boxed in these empty walls
Darkness when my thoughts fall
Been at war with myself for too long
And I hate that I've done too much wrong
And I place blame on you when I give straight into you over and over and over for days
You're the one I turn to
No one knows 'bout our truth
I feel nothing then something then nothing but shame
Pulling me away from the progress I've made
What else more can you take
Staring at a screen all day just for you and my pay all I want is a break
Takes a big toll on my mental
My reflections not mine
Taking all this time from my life
Now I'm fading from light, and I find out my mind is confined
