Underground Rain

There's a highway pointing north and south
It leads you past this broken old house
It's the place that we used to play
Before the dreams took us all away
Over there is the dead end street
We'd park our cars and listen to beats
Radio signal in decay
Promised that we'd get away
Where are the people that I left?
Where is the town I once called home?
Am I a prisoner of the past?
Or am I lost? for now I'll roam
