OVER BLACK;
We hear the LABORED BREATHS of a woman.
CUT TO:
INT. WEDDING CHAPEL
B/W CU of THE BRIDE of the ceremony in a wedding gown, bloody and beaten on the floor. She is the source of the labored breaths.
FOOTSTEPS are coming from a distance.
CU of the feet of a man named BILL. He is walking toward the Bride from the chapel entrance.
CUT BACK TO the Bride. Bill's footsteps stop, and he is standing in front of her, although we stay focused on the Bride.
BILL: Do you find me sadistic?
Bill's hand comes on-screen. He is holding a napkin in his hand. His name is sown into the corner of it. Bill begins wiping the blood off of the Bride's face with it.
BILL: I bet I could... fry an egg on your head right now. Oh, kiddo. I'd like to believe that you're aware enough, even now, to know that there's nothing sadistic about my actions. Maybe towards those... jokers, but...
Bill presses his finger against the Bride's cheek.
BILL: Not you.
Bill's hand and his napkin come off screen, and Bill stands up, still not on-screen.
BILL: Well, kiddo. At this moment...
We hear bill PULLING OUT A REVOLVER.
BILL: This is me... at my most... masochistic.
THE BRIDE: Bill, it's your baby.
Just as the Bride finishes her sentence, Bill FIRES a bullet into the side of her head.
SMASH CUT TO:
