Flying

When I was a young girl
I would climb up into a tree
Wanting to catch the next breeze
And fly away
As I grew older
I was told that I looked absurd
Trying to act like a bird
And then my nest fell

And He promised to set me free
To love with Him eternally
Then He set me flying

Knowing I'd always be in flight
