Taking inspiration from an extensive range of genres that is evident in his artistry, Discrete pushes beyond the boundaries of dance music. Ahead of his debut EP, which is due to drop at the end of May, Discrete releases third and final single which sees him collaborate with vocalist Charla K.
“Feed...
I’m overthinking, always
It’s better, you choose
I feel the air we, inhaling
It’s just the same, never new
For
All the times you pick me up with
Your shit telling you will drop her
But don’t you love her
’Cause
Right now there is a thunderstrike
In my head I just can’t decide
In this state of mind
’Cause you
Feed me with love
But then your words they seem to fade
Like I’m just a sweet escape
And
We are flying on clouds
Getting high on what we got
But is it really good enough
’Cause you
(Feed me with your love)
(Feed me with your love)
’Cause there are
Moments, I’m sure we
Can make it, it’s true
But just as
Soon as, you see her
I just know we, are through
For
All the times you call me up
Just crying telling you will drop her
But don’t you love her
’Cause
Right now there’s a thunderstrike in
My head I hate when we fight
In this state of mind
’Cause
You feed me with love
But then your words they seem to fade
Like I’m just a sweet escape
And
We are flying on clouds
Getting high on what we got
But is it really good enough
’Cause you
(Feed me with your love)
(Feed me with your love)
If you left and came here
Knocking at my door
Would we still feel those thrills
Like we did before
But do we like mystery
Honey I don't know
Do you even know
’Cause you
Feed me with love
(Mhmmm)
And we are flying on clouds
Getting high on what we got
Is it really good enough
(I know, I you)
(Feed me with your love)
(I know, I you)
(Feed me with your love)
(We are flying on clouds)
(On clouds)
(On clouds)
(Feed me with your love)
Feed me with your love
Feed Me With Love was written by Discrete & NEIMY & Charla K & Alex Shield.
Feed Me With Love was produced by Discrete.
Discrete released Feed Me With Love on Fri Jun 26 2020.
Discussing the track, Discrete explains: “I wanted to project the aesthetic from a decade ago onto contemporary house, so I experimented with some clean synths until I settled on what you hear on the track. Together with the guitars, the track sounds simultaneously like 2010 and 2020.”
