Chasing after people that had no name
Thinking I was destined to a life of repeated mistakes
Staring at the moon like she is my only friend
I was waiting on you to come and take me away

Circling 'round a feeling which never came
All this waiting left me in a ca-ta-tatonic state
Dreaming hinted at you, but couldn't give me a name
I was longing for you before you had taken shape

But here I stand staring back at the moon
