An aperture that neither
Offers me a shelter or retreat
And failing that, acknowledge
What at best just dulls the atrophy

Not for long

In so far as my failure to word a stasis, or foray in
Such a way that my view serves
Zoetropes of advantage

All in all
If you’d rather
Let it all just go to waste

Let go
Pairing my own
Myopic concerns
With an escape
