“A better way” is an interstellar hip-hop story about a character who potential saves the galaxy from never knowing true hip hop culture.
A better way to fly is a tone setter for the rest the album and is the introduction of our character “Styles Infinite” and the situation he is presented in.
[Intro - Space Patrol ]
Right now they are nearing the hideout or in a small atmosphere ship we’re getting closer fast and your safety belt happy here’s where we potentially develop power failure assessor time to make the worst landing of my career this grounds coming up awfully fast commander
Gotta make this look like a disastrous crash
OK but it’s beginning to look too realistic
[Verse 1 - MC Random]
Here we go again
Sent from oblivion to tat this rhythm in your skin
Lyrics laced with each mortal sin
Who knows where the portals end
My undergrounds universal in any given dimension
Have I failed to mention that I’m Styles Infinite
I spray bars through quasars
Timeless, I reside in a black hole
Here, to destroy clones, who lack souls (woah)
I’ve been detected by the radar (woah)
They been infected now they all gone
I bombard with bomb tracks and book stacks with rhymes that filled up 90s backpacks
I’m past and future, caught in a loop
It seems to open up every time I’m caught in the booth
It’s like I, quantum leap from beat to beat
With some theoretical physics that’s incomplete
I’m interstellar, my time signature is very different
Our bars aren’t the same, you wouldn’t get it
Heavy, something, for every season
And "Random Summers" tend to be the most heated
I’ve been defeated but my bounce back thick
With rhymes that make the paradigm shift
Outside the box, it’s hot outside
So if the beatbox rock let it ride
[Chorus]
Space ship dipping in the sky
You can tell it is I
By the 51 logo on the side
Wandering through space and time
Powered by a beat
A better way to fly
Fueled by elements classified
You Logging on to my net access denied
A better way every 51 bars like a comet
I don’t think they really want it
[Verse 2 - MC Random]
Boy, you know that Random's the truth
You must be, mixed up like Serato on the roof
My Flo’s ice cream, cold on the tooth
Antidote smoke for those poisoning the youth
Defy physics with my ones and twos
Beats bang, leaving Sheldon Cooper confused
He repping Dena so I shout him out, in theory
Adjust the frequencies so y’all can hear me clearly
And we was passing by an astroid
Had to change course so it wouldn’t blast your boy
Prime directive be selective with the rhyme
Because the guild frowns upon going back-and-forth in time
Choose wisely, bang for your buck
But I did it too much, now I’m stuck
But the better music gets, I’m feeling more at home
So I translate the Ranifesto through the microphone
[Chorus]
Space ship dipping in the sky
You can tell it is I
By the 51 logo on the side
Wandering through space and time
Powered by a beat
A better way to fly
Fueled by elements classified
You Logging on to my net access denied
A better way every 51 bars like a comet
I don’t think they really want it
