This surprising style switch from Stan is very well done. It starts off melancholy, with his iconic vocals, and then leads into an amazing upbeat dubstep swing style with his now famous Fox Stevenson sound design.
Who's this man I see in the mirror?
His eyes are red and his skin is cold
There's nothing anyone can say to make it better
But these past few days have taken their toll
You could leave me, find something else to do
Or you could run away, and find somebody new
And if you need me, as much as I need you
Then you should stay here, we can think it through
We've been trying oh so very hard
To see ourselves through what we've got to
A shout across a valley
Is not enough for me
If I've got to do it without you
But you could leave me, find something else to do
Or you could run away, and find somebody new
And if you need me, as much as I need you
Then you should stay here, we can think it through
Nothing more, nothing less than what I've come to expect
I must admit that I'm a wreck, I'm a shell, nothing left
If you need to leave me be, you can go, go in peace
If that's what you need
You could leave me, find something else to do
Or you could run away, and find somebody new
And if you need me, as much as I need you
Then you should stay here, we can think it through
(Buildup)
(Drop)
You won't leave me, there's nothing to do
And you won't run away, and find somebody new
I know you need me, as much as I need you
So let's just stay here, we can see this through
(Outro)
You won't leave me, there's nothing to do
And you won't run away, and find somebody new
I know you need me, as much as I need you
So let's just stay here, we can see this through
