John May is a student at Hope College in Michigan.
He is a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, and is currently struggling with the issue of whether or not to brag to his brothers that he is now a published poet or to just let it be because poetry is so not frat.
Peace and bacon grease y'all...
Pouring concrete around the feet of our dreams,
We stand at the edge of the pier, our guns drawn.
We are the gangsters of our time, yet we do not smuggle, or steal, or kill.
We only destroy.
We simply do not care.
We light the match
That burns a bush
And dare God to appear.
